According to a new poll by the PBS news program "Religion & Ethics Newsweekly" , younger white evangelical Christians are less supportive of John McCain than evangelicals over the age of thirty.

In response to remarks by Republican Presidential nominee John McCain about continuing to appoint justices in the mold of Samuel Alito and John Roberts, Democratic candidate Barack Obama said he would oppose appointing justices like these to the Supreme Court if he were elected President.
